She folded hope… one crane at a time. 🕊️
Sadako Sasaki was just two when everything changed. Years later, while she was sick, she started folding paper cranes believing that if she made 1,000, her wish might come true.
She folded more than that.
Not just for herself… but for peace.
She didn’t live long, but her story stayed.
And it still reminds us hope can exist, even in the hardest moments.
Maybe that’s what this piece became for me
a reminder of hope,
that even when everything feels heavy,
we can still create, still believe, still rise.
